Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin are both California transplants, currently living in Nashville. Brought together by a mutual friend, it was friendship at first text, and business partnership immediately thereafter. The goal in starting The Home Edit was to reinvent traditional organizing, and merge it with design and interior styling. While every project is rooted in functional systems that can be maintained for the long term, there is just as much emphasis placed on transforming the space visually and adding their signature stylized aesthetic. Check out celebrity projects for Gwyneth Paltrow’s pantry, Busy Philipps’s kitchen and Mandy Moore’s closet plus features from People, Elle, Martha Stewart, Architectural Digest, and House Beautiful on Join over 1.4M people that follow The Home Edit on Instagram and get ready for an entertaining lecture and luncheon to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Art of Design.

We are also pleased to announce that this year’s Art of Design’s moderator will be Molly Fienning. Molly is an active member of the Gibbes Museum Board of Directors and has served in various roles during her tenure. Molly is Co-founder and CEO of Red Clay Hot Sauce, a modern, Southern hot sauce and hot honey company that brings a new kind of heat by putting flavor over fire. Prior to Red Clay, Molly co-founded and served as Co-CEO of Babiators, one of Forbes’ 100 Most Promising Companies and the leading sunglasses brand for babies & kids (with over 3 million pairs of shades sold). Molly graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. She lives in Charleston with her husband Ted and their two sweet boys, Sawyer and Fox.
